La Jurisdicción
A 100% Godello from the family plots, mostly in the village of Villalibre de la Jurisdicción, which gives the wine its name. It is a tribute to summer and to the greens of the vineyards in full growth.

The vineyard
La Jurisdicción comes from several plots of different ages, from old vineyards grafted to Godello to new plantings barely five years old. The vines face north, on the steep slopes of the mountains in the south of El Bierzo, on soft soils of fine slate in clay gullies.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand in early September, selected in the vineyard, in 20 kg crates. On arrival at the winery they are destemmed and pressed straight away to start fermentation in stainless steel.
The must is cold-settled for 24 hours. The wine is then aged in wood on its fine lees for 6 months, after which it is decanted, mechanically filtered and bottled.
Tasting notes
- Pale yellow with a slightly green rim, fine tears and slow legs.
- Citrus, floral and white fruit notes on the nose.
- Some density on the palate and vertical acidity; the citrus notes return on the finish.
